Information security company K-sign announced on the 31st that it was selected as a business operator of “Blockchain-Applied Public MyData Distribution Trust Foundation” proposed by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

K-sign is carrying out the business by using its blockchain solution ‘Wizchain’. This project is part of the “2022 Blockchain Public Sector Pilot and Spread Project” promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) to revitalize the blockchain industry.

According to K-Sine, the project aims to establish a trust base for the public MyData distribution system through the management of the public MyData life cycle until data provided by the information subject is transmitted from the holding agency and used by the user agency.

K-sign will develop a blockchain platform to apply the ▲public MyData distribution system ▲development of the public MyData blockchain platform ▲implementation of authenticity verification services using the blockchain ▲project to apply the blockchain public MyData pilot service.

K-sign is trying to create a foundation to check whether or not to use personal information while converting the management authority for self-information from the collection agency to the information subject. In addition, the strategy is to strengthen the management rights of the information subject to personal information and establish a system that can contribute to the activation of reliable public MyData.

Seo Hyung-joon, director of K-Sign, said, “We improved the performance of Wizchain products in consideration of the public MyData distribution system environment. We optimized the information distributed in public MyData in blockchain with functions such as customization of blockchain core modules and management tools.”
